ARIC PRESS AT GEORGETOWN LAW SYMPOSIUM

You know, of course, that the vast majority of materials in our database are culled from the pages of our publications, under the meticulous and creative leadership of editorial director Aric Press.  This coming Tuesday, March 3, 2009, Aric will be on a panel discussing the media and the legal profession.  All of this will take place at a symposium sponsored by the Center for the Study of the Legal Profession and the Georgetown Journal for Legal Ethics.  Other parts of the program will concern research data in general, law firm globalization and a statistical study of lateral partner hiring.

NEW MATERIALS IN THE ILI DATABASE

For years, some of the most eagerly anticipated reports to appear in the magazines have been the associate surveys, Midlevel and Summer.  A couple of months ago we added the Midlevel Associate Survey to the database, a single Excel® notebook containing four tabs, 2007 national rankings, 2008 national rankings, 2007 city rankings and 2008 city rankings.  We have now added the same four tabs, 2007 and 2008 national and city rankings, for the Summer Associate Survey.
