Summer Associate Hiring: New York Firms Hired in the Hundreds

According to a recent report by ALM’s New York Law Journal (Summer Associate Surge), “The ranks of summer associates swelled at firms nationwide this year, reflecting increased optimism about the economy and its salubrious impact on legal practices, particularly M&A and transactional. Firms are consciously growing their ranks to fill gaps left by junior associate attrition and hiring young talent before their competitors do.”
