The late Leon Jaworski, famed Houston lawyer and founder of Fulbright & Jaworski, is the subject of a newly-released PBS documentary. The documentary — "Uncommon Law: The Life of Leon Jaworski" — premiered at 8 p.m. on November 21 on Houston PBS Channel 8, according to a report in Texas Lawyer. The Texas Foundation for the Arts produced the movie, which traces Jaworski's career as a lawyer.
And the documentary The Trials of Law School was recently released in DVD format, according to this report from Legal Blog Watch. The film follows eight students through their first year in law school at the University of Oklahoma, was written, produced and directed by Oklahoma attorney Porter Heath Morgan, a 2004 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and includes commentary from “a who's who of law prof talking heads,” according to Legal Blog.
